Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 3, 1918

Mrs. Catherine Hunter, 59 years of age, died last night at 7:15 o'clock at the 
residence of her son, C.Q. Nugent, 917 East Twenty-sixth Street. The deceased, who 
was well and favorably known by a large circle of friends, is survived b a son, 
C.Q. Nugent, with whom she was living, and four sisters: Mrs. N.J. White, Mrs. 
Richard Johnakin and Mrs. E.T. Dyer, all of this city, and Mrs. Bell Corson, of 
Crittenden, Va. Funeral services will be conducted at the late residence tomorrow 
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock and will be in charge of Rev. A.L. Franklin. Friends of 
the family are invited to attend. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
