Virginian-Pilot June 4, 1967
NORFOLK - Mrs. Louise Virginia Hurdell, 73, of 601 Graydon Ave., Apt. 3-A, the 
widow of Ivey B. Hurdell, died in a hospital Saturday morning.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Henry Edward and Mrs. Lucy 
May Stroud Orr. She was a member of the Freemason Street Baptist Church.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery for a 
funeral service Monday at 10 a.m. by Rev. William L. Lumpkin, of Freemason Street 
Baptist Church,
The family has suggested that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the 
American Cancer Society.
