Norfolk Journal and Guide,Nov 26,1949
Joshua Hurdle - Last rites for Mr. Hurdle, of Brooklyn NY, who died Thursday,
Nov. 17, were held Sunday afternoon, Nov. 20, from New Calvary Baptist Church
with the Rev. Samuel Wilson officiating. Interment followed in the family plot
in Calvary Cemetery. Hale’s Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
