Virginian Pilot January 19,1994

Anita Maria Harbison "Cookie" Hurdle, 34, of the 800 block of W. 27th St., a 
dietary worker, died Jan. 14, 1994, in a local hospital.
She was born in Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard Hurdle; two daughters, Latrice Harbison 
and Kanshia Lawton, both of Norfolk; her mother, Martha J. Harbison of Norfolk; 
her father, Theodore B. Quick Sr.; four sisters, Rosetta Harbison of Norfolk, 
Marilyn Harbison and Hester Harbison, both of Baltimore, and Sandra Harbison of 
Chesapeake; and two brothers, Tyrone Harbison of Norfolk and Theodore B. Quick 
Jr. of Baltimore.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in United Mission Holiness Church 
in the 100 block of Hardy Ave., Norfolk, by the Rev. Qualie Jackson. Burial will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at 817 W. 
27th St., Norfolk, at noon Thursday for the funeral processional to the church. 
Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
