NORFOLK - Mrs. Pearl Rebecca Lewis Hurst, 69, of 139 S. Ridgley Road, the widow 
of Edgar Lee Hurst and a daughter of Robert Lee and Mrs. Rebecca Watkinson 
Lewis, died in a hospital Thursday at 5 p.m.
A native of Accomack, she lived here 55 years, lately with a daughter, Mrs. C. 
Nash Satterfield. She was a member of Christian Temple.
Besides Mrs. Satterfield, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Warren H. 
Trent of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. W. D. Gribble and Mrs. William Hank of 
Norfolk and Mrs. Addie Wainwright of Baltimore; five brothers; and three 
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Sunday at 3 
p.m. by Dr. Warren Matthews of Christian Temple and Dr. H. S. Hardcastle, 
retired Christian minister. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will 
be at the home of Mrs. Warren H. Trent, 229 N. Blake Road.
