Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - September 11, 2011 
NORFOLK - Revelle S. Hyman, 66, of the 2400 block of 16th St. N.W., Washington,
D.C., passed away Aug. 17, 2011. He was born Aug. 20, 1944 to the late Ella L.
and Seymour F. Hyman. He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. He
retired after 32 years in 2002 as a computer specialist for the United States
Government, National Labor Relations Board. He was also a member of Springfield
Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. He was predeceased by his brother, Alfred G.
Hyman. He leaves to cherish his memories, one sister, Joan O. Maben; one
brother, Gary L. Hyman; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Hyman; uncle, Roland Thornton
and two aunts, Mary Hodges and Versaray Norman and a host of aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept.
14, in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel. Interment will be at
Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Watch service live online at www.
