Norfolk Virginian May 17, 1885

HYMAN - In Chicago, Ill., May 15, 1885, Robert W. Hyman, native of Edgecombe 
Co., N.C., aged 63 years.
Interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, Va., Tuesday, 19th, on the arrival 
of the Baltimore boat.

The steamer Virginia of the Bay Line, yesterday brought down the remains of 
the late Robert W. Hyman, who died in Chicago last Friday.  The remains were 
escorted to Elmwood Cemetery and interred, the following gentlemen acting as 
pallbearers:  Capt. C.G. Elliott, James Y. Leigh, Col. L.D. Starke, J.N. 
Vaughan, A.F. Santos, W.W. Hunter, Washington Reed and George W. Wilson.
