Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, June 21, 1995 
Iva Lena Hyman, of 4833 Shaffer St., died June 19, 1995, in her home.

She was a native of Scotland Neck, N.C., and was a domestic worker.

Survivors include her husband, James L. Hyman; her mother, Alvania Doggett of
Scotland Neck, N.C.; and her sister, Georgiana Davis of Scotland Neck, N.C.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home,
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. J.B. Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
The remains will be ready for viewing Friday at 3 p.m. The family will assemble
at the residence at 11 a.m. for the processional.
