Hyslop, aged 73, died at his residence, 619 Redgate avenue, at 2:15 o'clock yesterday morning. He was a native of Berkley, and for the past 41 years was a well-known resident of Norfolk. He was for many years a dealer in cigars and tobacco on Main street, near Commerce. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Burk Hyslop; one daughter, Mrs. William N. Waller, Jr.; one granddaughter, Edith Burk Waller, all of Norfolk, and one niece, Mrs. Walter Grant, of Troy, N.Y. He was a member of Royal Arcanum. Funeral services will be held at the residence, tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with the Rev. E. Ruffin Jones, D.D., rector of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, and the Rev. S.W. Melton, D.D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
