Norfolk Virginian May 15, 1881
                       Death of Mr. John Hyslop.
This esteemed citizen of Berkley died on Friday evening last, at his residence in 
that village. During the early part of the evening, Mr. Hyslop received a fall 
which so shocked his nervous system as to cause his death in a few hours. His 
funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Christian Church, 
Berkley, and will be attended by Chesapeake Tribe No. 50, I.O.R.M, of Berkley, of 
which the deceased was a member, and by Wyandotte Tribe No. 42, of this city.
