Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 9, 1941

William Dudley Hyslop, aged 53 years, son of the late Henry G. and Mrs. Mary 
Virginia Dudley Hyslop, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 1:15 
o'clock yesterday morning at a local hospital. Surviving him are three sisters, 
Mrs. A.W. Riggins and Mrs. F.W. Fentress, of Norfolk and Mrs. J.F. Mister, of 
Chicago, Ill. and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the 
chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, tomorrow 
afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Kenneth E. Burke, pastor of Burroughs 
Memorial Baptist Church, of which Mr. Hyslop was a member, officiating.  
Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
