Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 22, 1929

Mrs. Mary L. Iattarelli, aged 50, wife of Rosino Iattarelli, died yesterday 
morning at 9:55 o'clock at her residence, 913 Virgin Street. She was a native of 
Italy and had been a resident of Norfolk for 18 years. Besides her husband, she 
is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Emilio Portafe, of Norfolk and one son, Emilio 
Iattarelli, of Rome and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 
St. Mary's Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in 
St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary L. Iattarelli - Funeral services for Mrs. Iattarelli, wife of Rosino 
Iattarelli, were held at 10 a.m. yesterday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the 
Rev. E A. Brosnan, officiating. During the service, several selections were sung 
by the choir of St. Mary’s Female Academy. At the conclusion of the mass, Father 
Brosnan paid a high tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased. 
There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered 
with a pall of Easter lilies, carnations and fern. Interment was in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Honordto Perez, Ricardo Palomera, Manuel Garcia, Edward 
Gelardi, Fred Romeo, Tony Sabto, Vittore Cruiz and Charles Ritzo.
