VIRGINIA BEACH - Lawrence Adam Illy, 83, of 1031 Dam Neck Road, died in a hospital 
Friday.
A native of Germany, he lived in Virginia Beach 3 1/2 years. He was formerly of 
Detroit.
He was the husband of Mrs. Maria Illy and a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam 
Illy.
He was a retired employee of Chrysler Corp., and a member of Star of the Sea 
Catholic Church and Third Order of St. Francis.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Thomas J. Illy of Virginia Beach and 
two grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, Sunday 
at 7 p.m.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Star of the Sea Catholic Church Monday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
