Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch January 21, 1933
                      MRS. CORA LEE WHITEHURST
Mrs. Cora Lee Whitehurst, wife of A. H. Whitehurst, died in Washington, D.C., 
Friday morning at 2:45 o'clock. Besides her husband, she is survived by two 
sons, William B. Inge, of Richmond, and Edward R. Inge, of Washington, a sister, 
Mrs. W. H. Etheridge, of Norfolk, three brothers, C. M. an George A. Brister, of 
Petersburg, and J. W. Brister, of Memphis, Tenn., and two grandchildren and a 
number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Whitehurst was a native of Petersburg, but 
had been a resident of Washington for the last 25 years.
Funeral services were conducted in Washington today. The body will arrive Sunday 
morning and will be taken to the Hollomon-Brown funeral home. Burial services 
will be conducted at the grave in Elmwood cemetery Sunday afternoon at 2 
o'clock.
