Mr. Ingram was the widower of Marguerite W. Ingram. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his son, Robert L. Ingram Jr., and grandson, Rob Ingram, of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Slade Plantinga, and granddaughter, Kathleen Plantinga, of New Paltz, N.Y.; and two sisters, Sallie Ingram and Lucy Campbell of Chatham, Va. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Georgiana V. Brabban.
