R. Brian Inman, 41, of the 1400 block of Ashland Circle, rejoiced in the presence 
of his Lord on the morning of Sept. 6, 2001, at home surrounded by his loving 
family.
Mr. Inman was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. He was a branch manager 
of AIN Plastics, Virginia Beach, where he was an employee for over 20 years. He 
was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Norfolk.
Mr. Inman was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament School and Norfolk Catholic High 
School, Class of 1977.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Nancy B. Inman of Norfolk; three sons, 
Kyle R. Inman, Michael B. Inman and Gabriel B. Inman, all of Norfolk; his mother 
and father, Bonita Schulte Inman and Raymond E. Inman of Norfolk; two sisters, 
Karen Inman of Santa Fe, N.M., Christine A. Inman of Norfolk; two brothers, 
Raymond E. “Butch” Inman Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Norfolk, Michael P. Inman and 
his wife, Teresa, of Norfolk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Christ the King 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. Brian Rafferty. Burial will be at St. Mary’s 
Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight at the church from 6 to 
7 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Contributions may be made to a 
memorial fund to benefit his children at the First Union Bank, 2014 Granby St., 
Norfolk, VA 23517 or to a cancer-related charity of the donor’s choice. H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
