Virginian Pilot Thursday Feb 27,1986
Norfolk – Elizabeth Sargeant Iredell, 75, of 1210 Colonial Ave., a native of 
Norfolk, died Tuesday in her home.



Mrs. Iredell , was the widow of James Iredell, had retired as a curator of Old. 
St. Luke’s Church in Smithfield. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church.



Survivors include two daughters, Camilla F. Hoffler and Elizabeth S Francis, 
both of Woodbridge, England; two brothers, George H. Sargeant of Norfolk and 
Ben J. Sargeant of Charlottesville; and two grandchildren.



A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a. m. Friday in Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church by the Rev. Vincent Connery. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements. 
The family will be at 926 Hanover Avenue.
