IRELAND, Edward, 96, of Virginia Baptist Home, Newport News, Died Thursday, Oct. 
20, 1977, in the home. Survived by wife, two daughters, stepdaughter, stepson and 
six grandchildren. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, in Park Place Baptist 
Church, Norfolk. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. (Peninsula Funeral Home in 
charge.)
