Virginian-Pilot March 12, 1969
NORFOLK - Mrs. Catherine Warner Ironmonger, 98, of 167 W. Ocean Ave., the widow 
of Sidney Bailey Ironmonger and a daughter of Andrew E. Warner Jr. and Mrs. 
Barbara Will Warner, died in a Richmond hospital Monday.
A native of Baltimore, she lived here 75 years. She was a Baptist.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edith F. Wilkins of Oakland, Calif.; a son, 
Sidney Warner Ironmonger of Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Edith Howard of Norfolk; 
three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home at 2 p.m. by 
the Rev. Hiram L. Harrison of Ocean View Baptist Church. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
