Hill, 411 West Thirtieth street, yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. He is survived by three grandchildren, Mrs. Herman R. Hill, Mrs. Julian Osborne, of Norfolk, and Russell Byrd Irvine, of England, and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Irvine was a: native of Lynchburg, but had been a resident of Norfolk for the last 45 years. He served through the War Between the States as a private in McGregor’s Battery, Stuart’s Horse Artillery, Army of Northern Virginia. The body will be taken from the residence of his granddaughter to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
