George C. Isham died yesterday at 1 p.m. at the residence of Mr. J.H. Walker, No. 143 James Street. The funeral will take place from the house at 3 o'clock this afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. W.S. Lacy. The interment will be in Elmwood. The deceased was a gallant Confederate soldier and leaves many friends. He was a member of Pickett-Buchanan Camp, C.V., which will turn out in a body to attend the funeral. ********************************************************************* ISHAM - At the residence of Mr. John H. Walker, 143 James Street, Friday, May 29th, 1896, at 1 o'clock p.m., Captain GEORGE C. ISHAM, aged 58 years. The funeral will take place from the residence, THIS (Saturday) AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock. Isham took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence of Mr. John H. Walker, 143 James Street, and was conducted by the Rev. W.S. Lacy, D.D., of the Second Presbyterian Church. Members of Pickett Buchanan Camp, C.V., to which he belonged were in attendance. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
