Mrs. Isler was born in Beaufort, N.C. She retired from Minnie Pearl Chicken after 10 years and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Norfolk. She was the widow of Aaron G. Isler. Survivors include eight daughters, Recita Godly of Washington, N.C., Emma Marie Brown of Newbern, N.C., and Pamela Myrick, Linda Spencer, Annette Sharpe, Sona Parker, Danie Taylor and Divette Isler, all of Norfolk; two sons, Alvin Tripp of Washington, N.C., and Clyde Johnson of Blunts Creek, N.C.; two sisters, Helen M. Spencer of Suffolk and Ann Louise Small of Fayetteville, N.C.; six brothers, Johnny F. Spencer of Jacksonville, N.C., James Spencer of Edwards, N.C., Samuel Spencer and Robert Spencer, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., William Spencer of Newport News and Joseph Spencer of Washington, N.C.; 35 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral will be conducted at 2p.m. Tuesday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Ingleside, by Bro. Luther Lewin. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will be at the residence.
