Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 7, 1924
Mrs. Sarah Catherine Ives, aged 85, widow of C.O. Ives, died yesterday morning at 
4:30 o'clock at her residence, 1314 Buckingham Park, Larchmont.  She is survived 
by three daughters, Mrs. H.A. Johnson, of Virginia Beach; Mrs. J.F. Ward and Mrs. 
J. Page Simpson, of Norfolk; a brother, J.J. Ottley, of Norfolk and five 
grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock 
at the residence by the Rev. Leon Edgar Smith, D.D., pastor of the Christian 
Temple.  Burial will be private in Magnolia Cemetery.
