He was a native of this city and a lifelong resident of this section. Mr. Ives was a farmer in early life, and in his latter years had been prominently associated with the Atlantic Permanent Building and Loan Association He was the son of the late William W. and Sarah Miller Ives and is survived by one sister, Miss Luna M. Ives, of this city, and several nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the residence to the First Christian Church, Berkley, of which Mr. Ives was a member, for funeral services tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. John H. Knight, pastor of the church and the Rev. J.F. Morgan, pastor of Rosemont Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
