NORFOLK — Mrs. Marguerite Santos Ives, 79, of 938 West Princess Anne Road, Apt. 
B4, died at a Richmond hospital Friday.
She was a native of Norfolk, the widow of Raymond L. Ives, and a daughter of 
Charles O. and Mrs. Kate E. Santos.
She was a 25-year retired secretary of Johns Brothers, Inc. and a member of 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by two nephews, Edward V. Fox of Norfolk and the Rev. Charles D. 
Hutchins of St. Petersburg, Fla., and a cousin Roy Hendy, of Norfolk.
The Rosary will be recited in Cox Funeral Home tonight at 7:30. A Requiem Mass 
will be said at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
