Simpson, 7 Holly Street, South Norfolk. He was born in Norfolk, a son of the late W.W. and Mrs. Sarah Miller Ives and had lived in this section all of his life. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. G.C. Wright, of Charlottesville, Virginia; three sisters, Mrs. James Y. Old, of Elizabeth City, N.C.; Mrs. H.L. Graves and Miss Lula M. Ives, of Norfolk; and two brothers, L.C. Ives, of Norfolk and George Ives, of Norfolk County. The body was taken to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 East Berkley Avenue pending funeral arrangements. ******************************************************************************* Funeral services for William Warden Ives, who died Wednesday at the home of H.R. Simpson, 7 Holly Street, South Norfolk, were conducted this morning at 10 o'clock at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 East Berkley Avenue, by Rev. W.L. Murphy of Memorial Methodist Church and Rev. John G. Truitt of First Christian Church. Miss Jane Sanders sang two solos. The pallbearers were Carl Baxter, Eugene Ives, O.L. Smith, C.L. Old, F.M. Smith, Y.K. White and Clan Williams. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery.
