The Virginian Pilot Thursday January 26, 1961
Mrs. Eula Mae Jackson, 69, wife of William I. Jackson and daughter of 
William W. and Mrs. Elizabeth Gimbert Sawyer, died in the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Casebolt, 1534 Chela Ave., Wednesday at 7:30 a.m.
Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. 
Shirley Metzger; a brother, Milton C. Sawyer; a half sister, Mrs. Margaret 
Callis, all of Norfolk; a grandson, Julian H. Clark, and a great-
granddaughter, both of Plymouth, N.C.
Mrs. Jackson, a native of Princess Anne County, lived in this area all her 
life, lately at 2922 Lens Ave.  She was a member of Fairmount Park Freewill 
Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Friday at 
3 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
