Mrs. Ada Jackson, of 1015 “A” avenue, Oakwood, died Sept.  16 in a Norfolk 
hospital following a week of illness.  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. 
Sept. 19 at Hale’s Funeral Home with the Rev. C. H. Hill officiating.  A 
native of Farmville, VA., Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of the late Joe and 
Mrs. Mary M. Brown.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edward Irby of Norfolk, and 
Mrs. Sunny Anderson of  Farmville, VA;  two nieces, and three nephews.  
Interment was in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery.
