Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 10,1942
Funeral services for William Jackson of 912 Pollard street, who died September 
30, were held October 4, at the First Baptist Church, Bute street.
The Rev. W. L. Hamilton officiated.  Interment was made in Calvary Cemetery 
with the King Funeral Home in charge.

He is survived by his widow Mrs. Mary C. Jackson;  two brothers, James Jackson 
of East Orange, NJ; and Junior Jackson of New York; and several nephews and 
cousins of Petersburg.
