Norfolk - Mrs. Mary C. Jackson, 85, widow of William Jackson, died in Williams 
Home for the Aged after a short illness Feb. 9.  Funeral services for Mrs. 
Jackson were held in Bank Street Baptist Church with the Rev. J. B. Henderson, 
pastor, officiating.

A native of Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late James and Mrs. Ida Lee.

She was a member of Bank Street Church and a member of Lane Memorial 185 United 
Order of Tents.

Surviving are a brother, Willie C. Lee of Jersey City, NJ;  two nieces, Mrs. 
Emma Lee Simpson of Chesapeake and Mrs. Grace G. Kenney of Jersey City and a 
nephew, Bertram Lee of Montclair, NJ.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Home in charge.
