VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Virginia Frances Harrison Jackson, 72, of 216 Ottawa Road 
East, the widow of Matthew McCoy Jackson Sr., died Thursday morning in a 
hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was retired from W. G. Swartz and Co. She 
was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lillian J. Lambert of Norfolk; and two sons, 
Matthew McCoy Jackson Jr. of Lakewood, Calif., and Bobby L. Jackson of Virginia 
Beach.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Smith and Williams Funeral 
Home by Dr. Walker N. Stockburger and the Rev. Douglas K. Wilson. Burial will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the 
Heart Fund.
