Funeral services for John Jackson, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Lewis Johnson, Elmwood Ave., was held at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Rev. A.
Hobbs, pastor, officiating.  “Asleep in Jesus” was sung by the choir.  One of
Mr. Jackson’s favorite songs, “Away Over in the Garden" was sung by the pastor.
 He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Jackson, ten children, sixteen
grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  Interment took place in Calvary
Cemetery.  The pallbearers were S. Walker, B. Nottingham, G. Nottingham, and
Harris, deacons of Jerusalem Church.
