Norfolk - Mrs. Blanche Jackson of 1459 Chapel St., the widow of Percy Jackson
and a native of Norfolk, died Monday in a hospital.

She was a retired domestic worker and a former member of First Calvary Baptist
Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Stevens of Norfolk;  a son, Percy
Jackson Jr., of Chesapeake;  11 grandchildren;  12 great-grandchildren;  a
niece;  and two nephews.

A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev.
Frank Askew.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
