Albert Allan Jackson of the 500 block of Bethune Drive passed away after a long 
illness Aug. 14, 2004, at Virginia Beach General Hospital at the age of 74. He 
retired from the U.S. Navy in 1968 as a senior chief. 

Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Albert is survived by four sons, Gerald A. Jackson, 
Chris A. Jackson, Larry A. Jackson and Darryl A. Jackson; a daughter, Sherle A. 
Jackson, all of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Eddie Jackson of Los Angeles, 
Calif., and Raymond Jackson of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Alberta A. Gross of Los 
Angeles and Isla Branch of Pittsburgh; two granddaughters, Dana Jackson of 
Delaware and Little Maxine of Virginia Beach; numerous nephews, nieces, other 
family and friends. 

A funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in First Calvary Baptist Church by 
Dr. Johnny White. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery . The family will receive 
friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Graves Funeral Home.
