Norfolk - Mrs. Rosa Jacobs of 972 Mariner street died in a hospital.

A native of Rich Square,NC, she was a daughter of Abram and Mrs. Bessie Bryant
and the widow of Lonnie Jacobs.

She was a member of Fourth Street Baptist Church, Portsmouth.

She is survived by a son, William Jacobs, and two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Young
and Mrs. Louise Conner, all of Norfolk;  a step-brother, William Lassiter of
Rich Square;  a sister, Mrs. Rosa Perry of Portsmouth of Portsmouth;  four
grandchildren;  and two great grandchildren.

Services were held in Fourth Street Baptist Church by the Rev. S. L. Scott. 
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge.
