Jacobs who was about 45 years old moved to Norfolk County recently from Richmond, where he was engaged in the tailoring business, He owned a farm near the Richmond Cedar Works, about 8 miles out of Berkley, and was going to the farm with a truck load of building material when the accident occurred. The accident happened shortly after 8 o'clock. The truck was driven by a drayman named Carter, who gave his residence as Park Avenue, Brambleton. Jacobs was dead by the time nearby persons reached the truck. The automobile whose lights caused the accident was not identified.
