PORTSMOUTH - Max Jacobson, 86, a native of Baltimore and a resident of 118 Duke 
Drive 10 years, died Friday at 6:20 p.m. in a Portsmouth hospital after a short 
illness. 
A retired Norfolk merchant, he was a member of Beth El Temple in Norfolk.
He was the husband of the late Jennie Sacks Jacobson and a son of Moses and 
Mrs. Ida Jacobson of Baltimore.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ida Spensky of Portsmouth, and three 
grandchildren, Mrs. Doris Morrison of Norfolk, Murry Spencer of Norfolk and 
Gilbert Spencer of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The body was taken to Brennan Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Norfolk, Sunday at 
3 pm. with burial in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
