Jacocks, 40 years old, died last night at 10:25 o'clock in St. Vincent's Hospital, after an illness of several weeks, of typhoid fever. Mrs. Jacocks was a daughter of the late Alfred H. and Mrs. Rebecca T. Miller, of Saltville, Va., where she lived until about a year and a half ago, when Mr. and Mrs. Jacocks, located in Cradock, he having engaged in the coal and wood business in Portsmouth. Besides her husband, Mrs Jacocks is survived by five small children, three sisters, Miss Ada Lee Miller, Bristol, Tenn., Mrs. Julius Goetchius, Athens, Ga., Mrs. G.W. McGavock, Jr., Max Meadows, Va. and a brother, Henry A. Miller, Saltville. The Jacocks family are residents of Berkley. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ************************************************************ The funeral of Mrs. Ellen Miller Jacocks, wife of Henry M. Jacocks, will be conducted at the residence of his brother, J. Wilber Jacocks, 105 North Main street, Berkley, this afternoon at 2 o'clock, by Rev. S.J. Battin, pastor of Memorial Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. R.W. Stephenson, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
