Jacocks, died last evening at 7:30 o'clock at the family residence, 105 Main street after an illness of pneumonia since last Sunday. Mrs. Jacocks was a daughter of the late Samuel R. and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Harrell, of Sunbury, N.C. and is survived by four children. They are: Miss Grizzell Leigh, Henry Morgan, Jonathan Wilber and Miss Estelle Augusta Jacocks; brother and sisters, Preston Harrell and J. Abner Harrell, Sunbury, N.C.; S.B. Harrell and C.W. Harrell, Norfolk and Mrs. Edwards, wife of Rev. T.O. Edwards, Madison, Va. Mrs. Jacocks was an active member of Memorial Methodist Church and was well known and esteemed by a wide circle of friends. The funeral services will be conducted at the above residence Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery. ********************************************************* The funeral of Mrs. Mary Katherine Jacocks, widow of Jonathan H. Jacocks, was conducted at the family residence, 105 Main street, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. S.J. Battin, pastor of Memorial Methodist Church, assisted by Dr. T. McN. Simpson, presiding elder and Rev. T.H. Dimmock, pastor of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church. The attendance was very large and the floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. Burial was in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery and the pallbearers were: Dr J.A. Norfleet, J.J. Ottley, John C. Simpson, L. Berkley, John M. Berkley and G.D. Williams.
