Norfolk - Miss Estelle Augusta Jacocks, 78, daughter of Jonothan H. and Mrs.
Mary Katherine Harrell Jacocks, died in a Norfolk hospital Friday at 12:35 a.m.
after a long illness.

A native of Durants Neck, NC, she lived most of her life in Norfolk, lately at
407 Main St., Berkley.

She was a member of Memorial Methodist Church.

Surviving are a niece, Miss Katherine Jacocks of Roanoke, and eight nephews,
John D. Jacocks and Wilbur H. Jacocks of Hampton;  Claude L. Jacocks of Ponca
City, OK;  Henry M. Jacocks of Portsmouth, and Alfred M. Jacocks, Wilbur
Jacocks, Covington Jacocks and William Jacocks, all of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be conducted in Cox Funeral Home Sunday at 3:30 /.m. by
the Rev. james G. Hollomon of Memorial Methodist Church.  Burial will be in
Magnolia Cemetery.
