NORFOLK - Mary Regina Jacocks, 80, of the 3500 block of Heutte Drive, a retired 
clerk, died July 7,1987, in a hospital.
Mrs. Jacocks, a Norfolk native, retired from The Virginian-Pilot newspaper after 
45 years of service. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Survivors include a sister, Kathryn W. Jacocks, and a brother, Arthur W. Jacocks, 
both of Norfolk.
A joyful Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 11 am Wednesday in St. 
Pius X Catholic Church, Norfolk, by Father Charles Saglio. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today in H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk. The family will be at 3535 Heutte Drive.
