The Rev. E. Paul Simms, pastor of First Baptist, officiated, and was assisted by the Rev. O. J. Wynn, pastor of First United Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Hale Funeral Home. Miss Jacox, a Norfolk native, was a member of the United Order of Tents, the Ida Bagnall Federated Women’s Club, and a Sunday school teacher for more than 15 years. She was the daughter of the late Richard Jacox and Mrs. Caroline Jacox. Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Eloise J. White; and other relatives.
