Jakeman and daughter of Wesley W. and Mrs. Elizabeth Creekmore Hall, died in a hospital Saturday at 12:40 p.m. A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church and an honorary member of the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joseph D. Burroughts of Norfolk; five sons, Arthur E. Jakeman of Mobile, Ala., Robert A. Jakeman and Allan C. Jakeman of Norfolk, Lawrence W. Jakeman of Virginia Beach, and Charles W. Jakeman of Washington, N.C.; six grandchildren; and a great- grandchild. A funeral service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral home Monday at noon by the Rev, Robert H. Ramsey Jr. of Knox Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
