JAKEMAN - In Norfolk, April 11, at 6 p.m., Mrs. SARAH JAKEMAN, in the 79th year 
of her age.
The funeral will take place from the Cumberland Street Baptist Church THIS 
(Sunday) AFTERNOON, at 3:30 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances invited to 
attend.
MRS. SARAH JAKEMAN
The funeral of this lamented lady, relict of Arthur Jakeman, deceased, took 
place Sunday afternoon at 3:30 from the Cumberland street Baptist church, and 
was attended by a large number of people, Rev. Dr. T. G. Jones, the pastor, 
officiating. The remains were conveyed to Cedar Grove cemetery, the following 
gentlemen acting as pallbearers: C. J. Creekmur, H. J. Williamson, Robert 
Stephen, W. G. Owen, W. C. Godfrey and J. H. Morris.
