James. He died at the home of his parents Feb. 1. The Rev. R. W. Williams, presiding elder of the Portsmouth District of the Virginia Annual Conference presided. The eulogy was delivered by the Rev. D. W. Mack, pastor of Franktown AME Church. Music was rendered by the junior choir. Soloists were Miss Linda Ann Bailey and Miss Shirley Amelia Harris. Marvin was nine years old. He was a student at the Princess Anne County Training School. The funeral was largely attended. Persons at the funeral from out of town were the Rev. and Mrs. R. W. Baker, the Rev. and Mrs. J. H. Cherry, Newport News, VA and Mrs. Mable Woods of Washington, DC.
