H. H. Bobbitt, pastor, delivering the eulogy. Mrs. James lived at 1426 W. 45th street. She died in a hospital on Feb. 15. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Riddick Funeral Home. Her affiliations included the church’s Gospel chorus, Missionary Circle, Widows Club and senior Sunday school class. A native of Windfall, NC, Mrs. James is survived by two sons, William and Sidney James; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Wilson and Mrs. Nellie Holloway; and a brother, Edward Holley.
