                       MRS. MARY S. JAMES
The funeral of Mrs. Mary S. James was solemnized from St. Mary's Catholic church 
at 10 o'clock yesterday morning. Requiem mass was said by Rev. Father John 
Doherty. The interment was in Elmwood cemetery. The casket was hand-led by eight 
colored men, former waiters in the employ of the deceased. The floral tributes 
were exceedingly handsome. Following were the honorary pallbearers: Messrs. R. A. 
Hyslop, D. C. Bell, C. H. Ferrell, A. B. Duesberry, William Linn, H. A. Tarrall, 
B. D. Blick and W. A. Ehrmantraut.
