Norfolk - A funeral service for Mrs. Martha James, 68, of 952 Rugby street, was
conducted Wednesday in Metropolitan AME Church.  The Rev. R. A. Councill, pastor
delivered the eulogy.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale funeral Home
in charge.  Mrs. James died at her home April 18.

The Chesterfield County native was the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Blount and the
widow of Cain James.

There are no known survivors.
