Virginian Pilot December 8, 1990

Janie DeBusk James, 86, of the 2200 block of Scallop Road, a retired civil 
service employee, died Dec. 6, 1990, in a nursing home.
Mrs. James, a native of St. Paul, Va., had retired from the Naval Supply Center 
after 30 years. She had also worked at Hofheimer's Shoe Stores and Smith & 
Welton Department Stores. She was a member of Francis Asbury United Methodist 
Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse A. James; a daughter, Betty J. Fullerton of 
Virginia Beach; a brother, Dan J. DeBusk of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren 
and four great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Joseph E. French. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside 
Chapel, is handling arrangements.
