Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 4, 1944

Funeral services for Lieut. Richard Floyd James, USN, who was killed in a plane 
accident last Thursday near Pasco, Wash., will be conducted tomorrow morning at 
11:30 o'clock in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry M. James, at 
Nassawadox.
The body will be brought to Norfolk for interment at 3:30 o'clock that afternoon 
in Elmwood Cemetery beside the grave of his wife, the former Miss Martha Virginia 
Brinson, of Norfolk, who was murdered last year in a Pullman berth.
